personal otherkin / otherhearted / alterhuman blog. run by a 22-year-old rabbit-person

okay, putting together a semi-coherent tagging system...

#thonkposting - my personal posts ("thonkposting" is an in-joke)
#cousins of mine - real-life rabbits and hares
#rabbitdom - misc content that's related to my kintype, or reminds me of being otherkin
#alt-h - posts about being alterhuman, otherkin, etc. in general
#lapine lit - reading about rabbits

plus generic tags for organization / finding things again as i see fit

my name's finn. i'm 22, and i'm a rabbit! i use this sideblog to talk about alterhumanity, sort through my thoughts, and share my experiences. i'm still learning about this part of myself.

i'm kin with european rabbits, specifically, though i think of all leporids as cousins of mine. i flirt with a lot of labels, but "i'm a rabbit" gets the point across most succinctly. :p i am also human and i think of myself as both simultaneously.

i also have a main page @fivefeather that i sometimes interact from 👍

sadly, i may never actually get these thoughts out. articulating my like, spiritual and identity beliefs is always extremely hard, and it's hard to find the motivation to try. :(

i have a lot of feelings about the animality of humans - particularly the fact that we evolved as predators, though a lot of modern USamericans are squeamish about that fact. i have weird predatory urges that i can't attribute - there's no predatory animal (that i know of) that i really connect to... except humans. so, i was kind of musing and speculating on that, i think - wondering if i just express the animal part of being human more strongly than most.
